Over the summer I started watching Fionna & Cake (the Adventure Time spin off-mainly about the Ice King confusingly?) while cat sitting at my Mom’s. I was really enjoying it, and love a tight little mini-series with an actual ending. When a certain voice caught my ear…

The Ice Prince is a benevolent version of the Ice King inspired, undoubtedly, by Tuxedo Mask and Prince Endymion from Sailor Moon. The voice of the character is Robbie Daymond who has been the english Tuxedo Mask voice actor for the recent Sailor Moon remakes and also voiced Cooking Prince in Bee & Puppycat. (along with a ton of other characters because he is pretty fweaking kewl you guys)

These shows weren’t the thing that popped up when I searched him though, what came up first was Critical Role. The D&D live stream that people have been telling me I should watch since 2016, oh interesting, I didn’t know he was in that…

I started watching the abridged version of the 3rd campaign and damn, I was hooked. I binged 11 episodes in a week while working or doing chores and slowly started to get a sense of how big the world and storytelling was. When I started to look into it more I found out the campaign I was watching had over 100 4 hour long episodes and was still ongoing. On top of that there are also call backs and characters from the 2 previous campaigns (both also around 150 4 hour long episodes). I’m honestly not sure I’ve ever started something that was this much content before. If I watch 4 hours a day It would still take me over a year to catch up! That’s bananas!!

I’m so in love with all of the characters tho. It’s fun watching a story unfold where the people telling it also have no idea what the fuck is going on haha. Also the acting is great!! So wish me well on this long fantastical journey <3

(The animation for the 3rd campaign is sickkkk watch that too!)
